COVID-19 Update – Our guests’ safety is our top priority. We carefully follow government travel guidelines, and have a strict and comprehensive set of safety protocols in place.

HEALTH & SAFETY

The safety of DVT guests and staff is top priority. Discover Vancouver Tours (DVT) adhere to all government travel guidelines, and have a strict and comprehensive set of safety and sanitization protocols in place.

Proof of vaccination is required on all tours

Guests and staff are required to show proof of full vaccination before joining a tour. Many of DVT’s suppliers also require proof of vaccination. In order to participate, guests should be prepared to again show their vaccination if required.

If anyone is experiencing contagious symptoms DVT will work with the booking party to cancel or reschedule the tour.

Number of Guests on Tour

To ensure safety, the provincial and federal governments are continually reviewing the number of guests allowed on board a bus. DVT stays informed and follows all guidelines provided.

Pre-Tour Checks

  • DVT provides contactless check-in.
  • All guests must adhere to a 6-foot distance from anyone outside their group throughout the tour including the gathering and boarding process. If this is not possible a facemask is compulsory. If you do not have a mask, one can be provided for a charge of $2.
  • Guests, before joining any tour, and staff, before their shift, are required to answer a series of questions, pertaining to their wellness, as well as their exposure to those unwell within the previous 14 days.

On-Tour Precautions

Strict precautions are necessary during the tour. All guests (over the age of 5), and guides are required to wear facemasks for the duration of the tour while on the coach or when it is impossible to maintain the 6-foot distance. Hand sanitizer is available on all DVT coaches. Guests are encouraged to use this sanitizer, especially when boarding the bus, and after visiting an attraction.
