Where are the pick-up and return locations of the tours?

Join Us for Our Discover Day Tours at Multiple Locations! We offer Tours from four convenient locations: Canada Place, The Sheraton Wall Centre, Library Square, and Blue Horizon Hotel.

If you’re interested in a single-day adventure with us, you can choose the departure point that works best for you.

Can you pick me up at my hotel?

Our Discover Day Tours provide convenient pick-up and drop-off services at four locations in Vancouver’s downtown area.

Can I add travel insurance to my booking?

To guarantee a safe and secure trip, we highly recommend purchasing adequate travel insurance.

As a full-service travel agency, we can make all the necessary arrangements for your tour packages, flights, hotels, and car rentals.

Our parent company, Uniglobe Specialty Travel, can provide travel insurance to cover all your needs, including Cancel For Any Reason insurance.

What languages are your tours guided in?

Please note that all of our tours are conducted exclusively in English.

How many people can join a tour?

Our tours have a limit based on the size of the coach, ranging from 14 to 42 passengers depending on the specific adventure. You can view the maximum number of passengers for each tour on its respective page.

What are the age restrictions on your tours?

Our Discover Day Tours have no age restrictions. However, toddlers aged 0-2 are expected to sit on their guardian’s lap during the tour, as car seats are not provided.

Can I bring a baby on tour?

On our Day Tours, infants and toddlers aged 0-2 can travel for free. However, they must sit on the lap of the paying adult as we do not provide car seats.

Can I bring my pet on tour?

Unfortunately, we do not allow pets on our tours.

What type of ground transportation is used on your tours?

Our guided tours are conducted using coaches that can accommodate 14 to 42 seats.

Are there washrooms on board the buses?

Unfortunately, washroom facilities are not available on our buses. Nonetheless, we make regular stops to allow for washroom breaks.

Is there WiFi on board the coaches?

No WiFi Onboard – Unplug and Enjoy the Adventure! We believe that our guests should take full advantage of the tour by disconnecting from the outside world. Therefore, we do not offer WiFi onboard. However, rest assured that our Tour Guide is always available to assist you in case of an emergency.

Are your buses and tours wheelchair accessible?

We regret to inform you that our buses are currently not wheelchair accessible. However, we can accommodate foldable wheelchairs, but we require you to board the bus independently or with your group. Please note that not all activities included in our tours are wheelchair accessible.

Who are my travelling companions?

Our doors are open to all individuals, from adults and families to couples, seniors, and solo travelers of any age or background. We embrace diversity and varied interests.

Where can I store my extra luggage while I am on tour?

We can only accept a small backpack and handbag per person on tour. Baggage storage in secure lockers can be pre-arranged for any extra bags or large suitcases/baggage you may have. The fee is $15 per day.

Please contact us in advance if you do require luggage storage.

Are airport transfers included?

Airport transfers are not covered in your package. However, public transportation is available through TransLink, Metro Vancouver’s transportation network. Alternatively, there are several taxi and car-sharing options like Uber and Lyft that can take you from YVR to downtown Vancouver.

For small groups, our fleet of mini-coaches and vans at can be arranged for private transportation.

Can Discover Canada Tours organize flights and hotels before and after my tour?

Is tipping included, and if not, how much should I budget?

Important Information About Tipping on Your Tour. Please note that tips are not included in the cost of your tour. It is recommended that you tip your guides based on the level of service they provide during the tour. Our guides appreciate cash tips in either CAD or USD.

What currency are the tours quoted in?

All tours are priced in Canadian Dollars (CAD).

Can I cancel my tour?

Be sure to review our cancellation policies to determine if you are eligible for a refund within the cancellation deadlines.

Please note that Discover Canada Tours reserves the right to cancel a trip at its discretion. In the event of a cancellation, Discover Canada Tours will refund all monies paid by the passenger, which will be considered a full settlement. It’s important to keep in mind that Discover Canada Tours cannot guarantee any weather conditions or be held responsible for any shutdowns of operations related to the trip, whether due to weather or other reasons.

I've cancelled within the deadline. How long will it take to process my refund?

Upon receiving your request, we will proceed with the internal refund process. Please note that it may take 5-7 business days for the refund to appear in your account after it has been processed.
